I've really enjoyed reading David Alan Harvey's blog over the past few months but his comments on his post about "fame" blew me away today. Here's what he said that got my heart racing, not because I want fame, but because he verbalized IT so incredibly well:
"you need to be hungry to be good....you need to be starving to be great....creativity comes from a "need", not from being fulfilled..
you just need to learn to "love the struggle"...seriously....i actually love love the "survival" instincts cranked all the way up...
on survival instinct "mode", you see better, you hear better, you think better..you run faster...like a wild animal in the jungle..nobody can touch you....nobody would dare...."

thanks, girl. in these days, i feel that drive. not because i want to, but i can't help it. reading this helps me reaffirm that it is ok, and maybe even good. you rule.
