Inspiration

I probably never would have stopped to make this picture before my daily discussions with Michael Williamson about his new blog: Half a Tank: Along Recession Road with reporter Theresa Vargas, a San Antonio native. Half a Tank is a wonderful way for Michael and Theresa to find and tell the real everyday stories of people around the country effected by the economy's downturn. It's the ultimate in telling stories that otherwise would not be told. 

I was sitting at a light when I saw this scene. I'm not sure why I wanted to shoot it, but I did, only snapping a few frames on my way to an assignment. 

I think film is in order for what this has inspired me to do...
