More from "street stories" with reporter Vince Davis. We only made it a few blocks from the paper when I noticed a shoe shine store. I have never seen an actual shoe shine store, usually I see shoe shiners with a box or seat set up somewhere, so I wanted to check it out. I peeked in the window and saw a man quietly shining shoes. Frank Tyrone Jones blew me away with his words and his view of the world. Quote after quote assured me this man's story was a great one to tell. One of my favorite quotes was, " I have a conception about this, wherever they go, I go, because they are wearing the shoes that I shine."
